“No!” was the first children’s album by They Might Be Giants and the whole identity was designed by Chop Shop Studio (then Chopping Block). Released in 2002, the album became the soundtrack for a generation now heading to middle school. Each print is sealed with the Chop Shop Studio logo. Print is 10x10" archival digital using Epson quality inks on Red River paper.

Kickstarter is a learning process! Created in partnership with The Planetary Society, our Planetary Blocks continue to be one of our best-sellers. However, the process was rocky and even after approving a near perfect prototype, the final sets suffered from flaws that we consider to be unfortunate. We would like to offer these flawed sets here for 50% of the retail price. Just like the regular set it will include all 8 planets, 8 moons, 3 dwarf planets, the Sun, and the special two-sided supplemental fold-out poster.  When we say flawed, please understand that most of these flaws are just issues with centering, images running slightly off the edge and wood texture issues. They are probably details that would be lost on a child, but frustrating for a collector. See images in the gallery. On average the sets will contain 4-8 “flawed” blocks with the rest rated as “good”.

As the Cold War was ending and the Soviet Union collapsed, Louis Friedman traveled to Russia more than 50 times. Between 1984 and 2005, he worked to advance international space cooperation to explore Mars and other worlds in our solar system. In this book, he recounts his personal stories from those adventures in Russia. Among them are observing a Submarine Launched Ballistic Mission on a Russian Navy ship in the Barents Sea, and testing Mars Rover prototypes on volcanic mountains in Kamchatka. He chronicles the times he travelled to the secret Soviet nuclear laboratory in Chelyabinsk-70 with Edward Teller, the inventor of the hydrogen bomb and he flew in hot air balloons on a Soviet airfield in Lithuania. These adventures were undertaken to advance the idea of the United States and Russia leading a world effort to explore Mars together. Included is a Chapter and Appendices on the politics, history and challenges of international cooperation for human exploration of Mars.
