Collection: Space Exploration Themed

The new solar system with all the major moons and Pluto lost in the Kuiper Belt (look for it, it is there!). This was the exclusive member T-shirt design for The Planetary Society from 2016 to 2020.

This mission has been staggeringly successful at Saturn having been inserted into orbit in 2004 and still actively doing science 10 years later. This mission was also a two-in-one as it carried and deployed the Huygens Probe in 2005, becoming the first ever surface landing in the outer solar system when it touched down upon the surface of Saturn’s moon Titan. Stickers are 3.5" circular and vinyl. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

This is the official pin of the LightSail 2 mission. Cloisonné double pin backing. Measures about 1.5" wide.

The Planetary Society’s LightSail CubeSat was launched on May 20, 2015, and after a few days  successfully deployed its solar sails. As soon as early 2019, LightSail 2 will launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy, and we will attempt the first, controlled solar sail flight in Earth orbit. Sticker is vinyl and measures 3.42" x 3". Good for indoor or outdoor use.

The first mission of human exploration on the surface of the Moon. Neil Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface on July 21 at 02:56:15 UTC; Buzz Aldrin joined him about 20 minutes later. They both spent just under a day before rendezvousing with Michael Collins piloting the command module in lunar orbit and returning to Earth. The screen prints are sold out for now. Giclée prints are archival quality with Epson inks. Sizes are as noted in the pull down. The 42"x24" includes a half inch white border.

NASA created this chart in 1967 to illustrate the flight path and key mission events for the upcoming Apollo missions to the Moon. Image Credit:NASA, published: May 1, 1967. Printed on archival Red River paper with ConeColor inks for Epson printers. Please note that if you expect to read the small text, you may need reading glasses. ;)

The legendary artwork that is set to out-live humanity itself on a round 3.5 x 3.5 holographic styled sticker.

When a comet passes through the Earth’s orbit, it leaves behind a river of particles that remain in that region for many years. When the Earth passes through these particles each year it produces a meteor shower and their colors reveal their composition. Originally created for SETI CAMS, a student operated global meteor-spotting network. Sticker is vinyl with holographic style. Good for indoor/outdoor use. Measures 3.5" round.

Yuri Gagarin was the first man in space and made the trip in a Vostok spaceship on April 12, 1961.  NOW BIGGER! Stickers are 3.6" x 3" and vinyl. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

When we see the Apollo EMU we emotionally see Armstrong, or Aldrin, or any one of the other ten astronauts that walked on the Moon. However, the Apollo Extra-Vehicular Mobility Unit is just as much a complex machine as the vehicles that made the journey.  Stickers are vinyl and kiss-cut. When peeled, measures about 2.75" tall. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

NASA’s Apollo Program successfully sent twelve humans to the surface of the Moon utilizing the Lunar Excursion Module as the transporter of precious human cargo. Size is 3”x3” die-cut on holographic style vinyl.

Launched in 1990, Hubble has been a workhorse for observing the overall cosmos and was the first orbiting telescope of its class. Even making itself available to observe dramatic changes in our own solar system with events that would have otherwise gone unnoticed. Size is 3.5" x 3.5" die-cut on holographic style vinyl.

Sticker is epoxy/vinyl with dome shaped coating. Good for indoor/outdoor use. Measures 1.5" round.

Note: As of Dec 8 International orders may not arrive in time for the holiday. Please consider our custom printables to announce your gift should it arrive too late. Ever wonder what the moon looked like on your birthday? Or the birth dates of your children? The day you got married? Or the date of a person you love who passed on? Look no further! This keychain is the perfect gift and allows you to celebrate two dates, perhaps you and your spouse's birthdates, the day of your wedding and the day your first child was born, the birthdays of your children, your birthday and your best friend's birthday, the options are limitless. Keychain image area is approximately 1" / 25mm. To order, please provide the following information: Send us two dates (in this format: MM/DD/YYYY), Time Zone, and Approximate Time Of Day (if possible) of the date you wish to celebrate. We will verify your moon phase and begin production. If your date has a "new moon" (ie the first and darkest phase of the moon, which would essentially be a black charm), we will create your piece with a darkened full moon to illustrate that it was in shadow at the time. We include a card with your piece that describes the date information provided and the moon phase. Size: 2 ½” (61mm) x 1” (25mm) Materials: Rhodium plated brass, glass

NASA’s Apollo Program successfully sent twelve humans to the surface of the Moon. The Command Service Module was the one that got them there and ferried them back home. Size is 3.25”x2.5” die-cut on holographic style vinyl.

New Horizons is the first to explore the dwarf planet Pluto and the Kuiper Belt. Measure is 3" x 3" die-cut on holographic styled vinyl.

As of 2022 we have discovered over 5000 exoplanets. Of that number Kepler discovered over 2000. Size is 3.5”x3.25” die-cut on holographic style vinyl.

The Allen Telescope Array is an instrument dedicated to the search for extra-terrestrial signals. Thanks to the far-sighted benevolence of many donors, including Paul Allen (Co-founder of Microsoft) the first 42 elements of the ATA are now online and are continuously scanning the heavens. Sticker measures 11"x3" and ideal for indoor/outdoor use.

TESS will monitor more than 200,000 stars for temporary drops in brightness caused by planetary transits. This first-ever spaceborne all-sky transit survey will identify planets of all sizes. Holographic style vinyl size is 3.75" x 2".

The James Webb Space Telescope is only at the beginning of what it is going to reveal over the coming decades. Seeing nearly all the way back to the Big Bang. Measures 4". Can be rinsed and used repeatedly on clean window and smooth surfaces. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

You know this one. Goes well with Moon magnet.  Magnet is 3" circular and Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

It is the evolution of space missions. From the tiny Sojourner to Spirit/Opportunity to Curiosity, eventually leading to the first humans on Mars. Planetary Society’s Advocacy group knows that every mission counts and is why they are fighting to get the most important missions the funding dollars they need to reach their goals.

Updated design. We revised this design a few years ago and this is newly printed magnet stock.  Voyager 2 holds the record for most celestial bodies observed in a single mission having flown by four planetary systems. Then of course Voyager 1 also became the first man-made interstellar object with Voyager 2 expected to do the same in 2016. Magnets are 3" circular and vinyl. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor use.

The first to go in orbit around the jewel of our solar system. Cassini also delivered the first soft landing on an outer solar system world with Huygens on Titan. Average measure is 4" x 6" die-cut on holographic styled vinyl.
