Screen prints are running low! The first human spaceflight in history. Vostok 1 was launched on April 12, 1961 from Baikonur Cosmodrome with Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, making him the first human to cross into outer space. It was also an orbital spaceflight consisting of a single orbit and took 108 minutes from launch to landing. Screen print measures 36"x18" printed in 3 colors by Vahalla Studios. Giclée versions are printed archival with Epson inks. Sizes are as noted in the pull down. The 42"x24" includes a half inch white border.

LightSail® is the first all-science citizen-funded space mission in history! Testing the concept of solar sailing technology deployed with a CubeSat which Carl Sagan first promoted during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 1976.  NOTE: The screen printed editions were exclusive to the Planetary Society Kickstarter in 2015. There are no plans for reprints but the giclée versions are printed archival with ConeColor Ink on Red River papers and will be available indefinitely.

The first four panels illustrate the impact that asteroids have already had on life on Earth. The final panel represents the top three deflection techniques: The Kinetic Impactor, The Gravity Tractor, and The Nuclear Option. With only so much room on our Planetary Blocks, we were excited to also produce a foldout supplemental poster to expand on the research and data we used to create the set. It expands on the scale and distance sides of the blocks as well as providing a ton more of new information from ice volcanoes to subsurface oceans all the way out to Planet Nine! The James Webb Space Telescope is a time machine that can see back nearly to the point of creation itself, 13.5 billion years ago. The design boasts this fact in a text burst and includes a timeline starting at the upper left with the Big Bang, red-shifting its way through the dark age and across the print (above). The stars and galaxies begin to more fully populate the page until you see the universe as it is today at the lower right. The limit of JWST’s limit is tagged in yellow just after “First Stars”. The Planetary Society has a big bash lined up in Fredericksburg, Texas, this year called Eclipse-O-Rama, and we've been busy designing loads of Texas-themed swag for it. But we know the eclipse is a North American event, not just a Texas one. So, we didn't stop there – and went and created a national version to be sure nobody feels left out of the party.

The Planetary Society is hosting an impressive gathering for the eclipse dubbed Eclipse-O-Rama. The event’s official poster showcases Fredericksburg as a prime spot for viewing the eclipse's totality in the USA, symbolically marked with a Blue Bonnet flower.

It begins with Archytas’ steam-powered pigeon and spans to today’s Starship Super Heavy and SLS, with each rocket dated and defined a key below.
