Enough about Curiosity, Perseverance, helicopters, and all these rovers. In only three and a half months, Pioneer became the very first mission to enter the Asteroid Belt to explore the outer solar system. Juno is the first mission to go into a polar orbit around Jupiter. Mars Science features newest generation of robotic Martian surface rovers. Curiosity arrived in 2012 with Perseverance following in 2021 (and Ingenuity too!). Their search for past and present life on the Martian surface make them more like mobile laboratories than mere robot explorers. Edition #1 was Curiosity and was sold out in 2020.

Voyager 2 holds the record for most celestial bodies observed in a single mission having flown by four planetary systems. Then of course Voyager 1 also became the first man-made interstellar object with Voyager 2 expected to do the same in 2016. This mission has been staggeringly successful at Saturn having been inserted into orbit in 2004 and still actively doing science 10 years later. This mission was also a two-in-one as it carried and deployed the Huygens Probe in 2005, becoming the first ever surface landing in the outer solar system when it touched down upon the surface of Saturn’s moon Titan. NASA's Mars Exploration Rovers (MER) are an ongoing robotic space mission involving two rovers, Spirit and Opportunity, exploring the planet Mars. The missions began in 2004 with the arrival of the two rovers-Spirit and Opportunity-on the Martian surface. It continues to this day with Opportunity still in operation over a decade later. Sold out for a year, the screen prints are now BACK IN STOCK! Sputnik was the first artificial Earth satellite. It was a 58 cm (23 in) diameter polished metal sphere, with four external radio antennas to broadcast radio pulses. Launched by the Soviet Union in 1957. See also the Tee! New Horizons completes our image of the known planetary bodies when first we emerged from our celestial crib. Pluto is the most distant target ever seen by mankind and it stunned everyone when it turned out to be much more than a cold cratered iceball. LightSail® is the first all-science citizen-funded space mission in history! Testing the concept of solar sailing technology deployed with a CubeSat which Carl Sagan first promoted during an appearance on The Tonight Show in 1976.  NOTE: The screen printed editions were exclusive to the Planetary Society Kickstarter in 2015. There are no plans for reprints but the giclée versions are printed archival with ConeColor Ink on Red River papers and will be available indefinitely. 

Giant Leaps featuring the historic missions of human spaceflight is the third in our series of space exploration prints. The missions selected include Apollo 11, The International Space Station and Vostok 1. Screen prints are all from a limited edition series. The first mission of human exploration on the surface of the Moon. Neil Armstrong became the first to step onto the lunar surface on July 21 at 02:56:15 UTC; Buzz Aldrin joined him about 20 minutes later. They both spent just under a day before rendezvousing with Michael Collins piloting the command module in lunar orbit and returning to Earth. International Space Station is a microgravity and space environment research laboratory which supports experiments in biology, human biology, physics, astronomy, meteorology, and other scientific research. It is also the current record holder for the longest continuously crewed spaceflight mission now since November 2000. Screen prints are running low! The first human spaceflight in history. Vostok 1 was launched on April 12, 1961 from Baikonur Cosmodrome with Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, making him the first human to cross into outer space.
