For anyone tracing the origins of the Chop Shop's unique style, this design serves as a key touchstone. As its creator, Thomas Romer, I've always been enamored with space exploration. So, when the opportunity arose to design the third iteration of the Chopping Block website, I couldn't resist infusing the theme with the spirit of the Apollo-era NASA.

This space-themed design marked the end of my identity creations for a while. The reins were passed to Robert Reed, who brought a Boy Scouts theme to life. Fast forward a few years, and I found myself back in the design chair, leveraging Flash to revamp our entire website. This reincarnation was dubbed the 'Orange Farmers site', gaining notable attention for its catchy theme, "Oranges and Graphic Design," a nod to They Might Be Giants.

23 years later, I brought the design back to life for The Planetary Society’s PlanetFest ‘21
